I just listened to it and Leo gave it very high praise by saying this is one that works. Great interview to bad it won't get the wide spread distribution it deserves.
Thanks for posting it. |

ok, that's just obscene...you couldn't possibly find time to watch that much unless you never left the house or the couch or are a packrat that just collects "stuff"
at a decent quality that's like 1500 hours or over 2 months of viewing...you couldn't possibly ever watch that much TV and have any sort of life |

I just downloaded/listened to the interview and I'm further impressed with the people at Frey Tech. There was another post in the forum regarding the MediaMVP client being further down the road then we may think. This to me is the greatest rendition of the home pvr system; one large 4-6 tuner system in the basement with these mediaMVP systems at the tvs around the house. No HD sound, no fans whizzing, just the silence of solid state. I'm eager to spend money once I see the MVP client running!

Hmm...
Everyone is waiting on the Sage MVP client. Well I have a MVP and Sage and I use them now. Yes it would be nice to be able to watch Live TV and change channels [I cannot do this now]. It would be nice to change the scheduals and see them [I cannot do this now]. But, what I can do is what I do the most of - watch what I have already recorded. Just set the MVP to look at the Sage recording directories, pick what you whish to watch and push the OK button. Bamm! The MVP uses html to put up its screens. Sage 2 may have WEB support [we will see]. The very idea of Sage 2 is to leverage user interest and skill into the product. That said, after Sage 2 comes out we may be getting close to being able to put together a MVP Sage interface outselfves. -Stan |
