Two Tuners, slightly different lineups

I'm hoping someone can tell me the best way to set sage up for this. I have two tuners each connected to a STB. Both these are STB are using the same TV provider, but one of the STB is connected to three satellite while the other only recieves two. So the one receiver connected to the three recieves all the channels the other STB does and more.

So my problem is how to I setup my EPG lineups to accomadate this. My understanding is that sage merges the channel lineups for the two. The problem for me is if it does this, some of the channels in the EPG are only truly available from one of the the tuners. Is there some way to tell Sage what channels are only available on the 2nd reciever so that it won't try and tune into them on the STB that doesn't recieve them?

Thanks

When you set up your 2 lineups, one for each STB, you have told Sage what channels are available from each receiver. Sage will combine the two lineups into the consolidated guide. Sage then keeps track via the 2 lineups what each STB can supply. Not sure of the EPG lineups you have, but for example, you could use the national Dish lineup for the 2-satellite lineup, and the local Dish lineup for the 3-satellite lineup.

Now, if it were me, I'd set the encoder_merit for the tuner that has the 2-satellite STB to be higher so that Sage will prefer to use that STB first. That way your first recording uses the 2-satellite STB and keep the 3-satellite STB free as much as possible (to minimzed conflicts)

encoder_merit can be found in sage.properties, and can be modified via notepad when Sage is completely shut down.
