Adding a UNC Import directory fails with "Invalid Directory"
Hi all,
I'm currently running SageTV 6.3.10 I've been running SageTV for about a year now, and have installed almost every version including betas. However it seems completely random when adding a Import directory actually functions (using UNC path). I have the following: 1) SageTV running as a service - Running as Administrator - And I check this each time I install a new version on a random chance it resets it back to local system account 2) SageTV media center running on the same machine (client mode) 3) All machines are in the same subnet, workgroup etc.. Anyway in this screenshot: You can clearly see that I already have some UNC import directories! Yet it says invalid when I click "Network" - I've tried everything I can think of. Oh and there's nothing in the debug files. The OS on this box is Windows XP - the other boxes on the network including "ben" are Vista machines.

Have you tried clicking Specify and typing in the UNC path?

You know what I tried everything I could think of, even clicking Specify and typing in \\BEN ... However I just did \\BEN\storage and it worked I have no idea why I didn't think of that. I guess part of me thought it would just bring up a list of available shares! I guess I'm spoiled at work as I always use d$
