Recordings showing up in Imported Video
I am currently running XP with 6.3.5. I have installed Vista 64 Ultimate on a partition and am trying to convert to it. I got other things to work in sagetv but having some problems. One of them is all of my previous recordings are showing up in Imported videos instead of recordings. I can play the files fine if that matters. I changed the directory to save the recordings to the same UNC path that I used in XP. I have tried using 6.3.5 and 6.3.10 but have gotten the same results. Please help!! Thanks.

Did you follow these directions:
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...610#post265610 If you did not keep your wiz.bin, then Sage wouldn't know where to put the videos and they would end up in your imported videos.

I tried doing the repair in sage.properties but that didn't work. I copied the wiz.bin from my xp partition over to vista and that worked. Thanks a lot. Now only if I can get the program guide to download the info for the QAM channels.
Is there a file that I can copy over like I did with the wiz.bin that will transfer the settings over for my tuners and/or the program guide?

Uninstall Sage and start from the beginning. You're installing on Vista Ultimate which if VMC is not disabled will try to use your tuner cards. Turn off and disable all the Vista Media Center services. Install Sage and configure it from scratch until everything is running correctly. Reboot the server and make sure it still continues to work. Now stop the Sage service or make sure Sage is quit and not just sleeping. Copy back in your original wiz.bin. Start up Sage service or Sage and let it run until the CPU settles down. Everything should work and your recordings should be there. Don't copy back in any .properties files. Any plugins will need to be reinstalled.

Okay so I got the tuners to work. I got it to work kind of by changing the recording directory from a UNC path the standard one. After configuring the tuners I switched it back to using a UNC path and it worked.
The problem I am having now is that one of the tuners isn't getting a good signal. It keeps on skipping and pixelating. I tried using different drivers but still had the same issues. I know its not the signal because both tuners work fine in XP. Any tips would be helpful. Thanks.
