MP3 Tag fixing?

I have a library of over a thousand MP3's from different sources. Only some of them have full and correct information in the tags. Because of the missing data in the tags it is imposable to use any advanced software to manage my music, and I have to make playlists by hand.

So my question is, is there a decent software that can find the track information and auto edit the ID3 tags? I have tried a few such as media monkey but have found nothing that works. I'm willing to try Linux, or Windows software.

Tag&Rename gets my vote. I started off with my library of 35,000 tracks using one layout which I liked (using tags to drive the gouping in sage) to a completely different layout and Tag&Rename let me do it easily. It's great software and worth the price.

I like MP3tag (http://www.mp3tag.de/en/index.html). Can search CDDB, Amazon, etc for matches. Grabs album art. Free.

I've tried a lot of them and Tag&Rename and Mp3tag are the two that I use.

I've tried Tag&Rename, MP3Tag and Godfather. I've got a library of 10,000 + tracks and T&R is by far the best, most feature-rich and flexible app.
