double transmit UIRT

I'm setting up on a new computer and I loaded SageTV and everything works properly except the USB-UIRT sends a double code; e.g., 13 become 1133. I'm on Verizon FIOS digital with a Motorola QIP 2500-2 receiver.

There is a file which determines the codes, in which you can edit this line;

"RepeatCount 5"

Attached is my IR file for Verizon FIOS QIP2500.

Note I have it set to Zone 1 of the USB UIRT box, you may need to change that for your setup. Hope that helps.

I changed the sage.properties file line from:
usb_irtune_repeat_factor=2

to:
usb_irtune_repeat_factor=1

After I opened SageTV, I had the same problem. I then opened sage.properties file again and the line had returned to: usb_irtune_repeat_factor=2

Where/how should I modify this file as doing it with Wordpad doesn't apparently work.

You have to make sure that Sage is COMPLETELY stopped. Otherwise, it will revert back as you saw.
