Not understanding focus

I am trying to simply adjust the translucent of the poster that is selected in the video library and make it less transulenct than the others.

I can't seem to accomplish this all I can find is how to adjust the highlighter (yellow in my case) around the folder.

Do I need to put a call in here for the fanart again from pheonix's api and make it darker?

You can put an expression like =If(Focused, X, Y) in a widget's Transparency or Alpha property to make it more or less transparent depending on whether it has focus.

You kind of lost me there. where is the transparency or alpha property?

It's in the property dialog for each widget (p. 22 of the Studio manual).
