Interference between computer and UHF remote
After setting up my DishNetwork system today I've run into an unforeseen problem. When the computer is on the UHF remotes will not work from more than about 3 feet away from the receivers.
I have 2 VIP222 receivers set up in my TV room along with the computer running Sage. One of the receivers sends its signal back into my home cable wiring so I can watch satellite on other TVs in the house. I had the computer off while we set everything up this morning and the UHF remotes worked great anywhere in the house. This afternoon as I was setting Sage up for the new system I realized that both the UHF remotes were no longer working. I played around some and traced it to the computer. I moved the computer as far from the receivers as I can (about 6 ft.) and the remotes will now work about 3 ft. from the receivers but no further. Arggggg! any suggestions?
