Import video from c:\ keeps getting added

C:\ keeps getting added to my list of directories to import for video. I keep removing it and it keeps coming back. How do I get rid of this? It ends up indexing my entire c drive and importing more movies than I want it to.

Thanks,
Bryan

How is SageTV getting loaded? Are you running it as a service or are you starting it manually? Make sure the account you are using to start Sage has the access to make those modifications.
I had this issue when I was using an account to start sage that only had user access instead of admin accesss.

What OS are you using?

I'm starting SageTV as a service on XP. I'll check the user permissions. I have no trouble adding import directories or deleting other import directories. It only happens with C:\. I remove it, the movies in that location disappear for a while and then it comes back.

Thanks, Bryan

If the account has all the access, you may want to try removing all folders, closing out of sage then adding all the folders you need again.

Strange that it's only happening to the c:\ and you have no other issues with other folders though.

The only way I found to avoid this was to disable the Auto Scan on the Automatic Library Rescan Frequency. Setup -> Detailed Setup -> General -> Automatic Library Rescan -> set to 0 (Manually Rescan). It's a pain, but it's the only way I've found to stop it scanning and importing everything from c:\.
