The Purple Screen

Every so often my screen goes into a purple hue. I'll be navigating through the menus, hit a button, and all of the sudden everything gets this purple hue. I'm still able to see it all, but the color overlay/filter is constant until I power cycle.

I'm running SageMC, but I've had it happen in default STV before. Anybody else have this issue?

yup... no idea why it's happening... i seem to remember it only happening the last month or two... restarting playback (or starting/stopping playback) seems to fix it in my case. annoying nonetheless

Weird i had this last night. Turned the TV off and on and it went away so assumed it was the TV. I was running the HD200 in extender mode.

This is typically a HDMI handshake issue (at least that is my theory). Mine clears up if I just switch TV input to something else and then back to the HDMI.

yup, that makes sense now that i think about it.... i have native resolution switching enabled and changing the output resolution resets the hdmi handshake which is why starting/stoppig playback fixes it for me (ill have to try just manually changing the resolution though)...thanks for the tip
