How to always start at begining of movie
I have an HD200 and use it mainly as an extender. When using it as a standalone and when playing a movie I have an option to start from the begining or resume. However when used as an extender, and controlled from CQC, it always resumes.
Is there a string I can put in the .properties file to tell it to always start from begining? I looked through it but nothing jumped out at me. Thanks GM |

While I am not using CQC to control my HD200, every time I access a video I have already accessed, it gives me the option to restart where I left off or start from the beginning. Sounds like the commands from CQC is causing you to not get the normal playback options for the HD200.

SageTV's default behavior is to always resume where it was stopped -- Unless it is completely watched. Therefore, the quickest way to star tat the beginning, is to mark the show watched, and THEN start playback. This will force starting at the beginning. I'm not sure at what level CQC is interacting for you, but there is a Sage command for toggling watched status. If you toggle this twice, and then send the play command, it will start at the beginning, regardless of whether the show was originally unwatched, partially watched, or completly watched (thus flagged as watched).

Maybe I can include in the Play command from CQC to also mark the movie as Watched. Then if I start it again it will start from the beginning.
Thanks. I'll give it a try. GM |

Yes, I have that set also. And I do get the menu when using the Sage to play the movie. The problem for me is when I use CQC to play the movie. Then I dont get a menu and do not have the option. It will always resume from where last left off.
