Time Warner Cable - Free Showtime for a Year Deal
Your mileage may vary, but it appears TWC is offering a free year of Showtime for any subscriber (or new subscriber) who asks for it right now. I added it to my TWC package today and have multiple reports from others that they did also.

Along the same lines, Comcast was relatively quick to offer me free HBO and STARZ when my one-year promotional period expired. I called up when my promotional offer expired saying I was thinking about switching to Dish. They sent me over to a retentions department and my new offer was a few dollars a month cheaper than my previous one.
What made that particularly weird was that they actually gave me more than I asked for at a lower cost (I had already said I didn't care about HBO and I said I didn't mind spending a bit more than I already was).
