Recorder 1.5.6 as network encoder for SageTV 6.6.2.218...
So I'm trying to use my old SageRecorder license to setup a machine with my old PVR-250 PCI boards in it as source for my new setup for some encoding/transfer work (converting some VHS tapes to MPEG basically) and for possibly talking to these Pace DC50x DTA (yes I know, the hamster is getting back on his wheel...) but I'm running into some problems...
I installed Recorder on the machine, got it functioning and can view live TV from within it. I mapped the storage drive from my SageTV server to the Recorder machine and used the same drive letter. I setup the Sage.Properties file correctly and copied the needed lines from the SageRecorder.Properties file The capture device is listed. (see pic #1) I select TV tuner and wait for the preview which never comes (see pic #2) so I click the continue button. I click the 'Use external Cable blah blah blah' button and nothing hapens. (see pic #3) If I move the mouse the upper 2 buttons disappear! (see pic #4) Only thing I can find in the log (I have debugging on for another reason) is this... Quote:
I turned off Windows Firewall and Security Essentials on the recorder machine as well. Here is the mmc segment from the Sage.Properties file... Code:
