Service Control Dialog + LogMeIn
Is it normal that when logging in remotely via LogMeIn that the service control dialog window is transparent/un-clickable?
This makes it difficult to shut down the service or restart it. Is there another way to start and stop the service other than the dialog? I’ve noticed that if I drag the window around I can get it to re-draw the dialog mostly, but that’s annoying… Just as unusual I grabbed a screenshot of it to add to this thread and when I pasted it into PS the entire screen and dialog window rendered like there was no problem… Any ideas as to what causes this? |

Quote:
Or from a command prompt: net stop SageTV net start SageTV You can even do it remotely without using LogMeIn or RDP: sc \\computername stop SageTV sc \\computername start SageTV

Thanks Greg. Works perfectly. I don't know why I didn't think of going into the services console... Habit I guess
