Are windows and Mac versions feature sets equal?

I'm looking into starting a new sage setup and was wondering if the feature set are the same on the windows and Mac additions.

I'd prefer to stay with Mac but I'm willing to get a win pc if necessary.

Tim

AFAIK, I don't think the Mac server supports an IR blaster yet. As for tuners, I've been using two HDHomeRuns with great results. The MacBook that I was using as a SageTV server just had the hard drive die, so I will be moving my server to a Mac Mini when I get a chance.

Hope this helps,
Kenny

Thanks Kenny.

I just ordered a HDHomerun yesterday so sounds like I picked a good one.

Through no fault of Sage the support for different TV tuners is far more limited on Mac than Windows. Aside from that the feature set is similar.
