Sage show no dvds in my shares [RESOLVED]

I have sagetv ver 7.017 installed. I have one computer with 5 hard drives and each hard drive have 1 shared movie folder. This is not my sage machine. I set up all my import directories in sage, but sage says no dvds, no music and no pictures and to add shared folders. I can see and access all the shared folders on my sage machine through windows explorer and even play them with windows media center, but sage doesn't even see them. This happened to me with a previous install of sage7.015, so I created a new user account, reinstalled sage and it saw my shares under the newly created user but not the initially created user. I have tried doing this with my new sage machine and I still don't see any shares. I have sage installed as a service. When i go to media center import directories, it shows all the shared directories I have set up. I am running XP Pro service pack 3 and am set up as admin.

I don't know if anyone has run across this issue, but any help would be appreciated.

Are you running Sage in service mode? If so, did you set your username/password to the shared machine in the Sage Server GUI?

Username and password?

I am running in service mode. I don't think I did. I checked and found I had not done this, so I started the sagetv service control and entered it and I now see all my movies. Thank you very much for your help Paulbeers. I really appreciate your help!
