Problem with Audio and Vizio soundbar
Hello,
I've try to keep my audio components simple and currently using a Vizio VSB210WS soundbar with wireless sub. Using the latest V7 beta on WHS and lastest firmware beta on HD300. HDMI video out to TV, S/PDIF audio out to the soundbar. I have tried setting audio using Digital PCM and Digital Bitstream and have terrific sound from soundbar but getting no Bass at all to sub. Analog L+R cable works fine. Anyone using a soundbar with the HD300 and able to get bass? I'm getting the feeling my only option here is to stay with analog or look into getting a receiver. thx in advance. Bill

I would set it to Digital bitstream and shut down everything and reboot. That's means remove power form the HD300 completely and make sure everything comes up fresh. I saw this on my HD200 a couple of times after a flash update. I only had stereo or no sound at all. A cold reboot fixed it.
