Plugin development and licensing
One of the tricky things about plugin development is making it work on all the possible configurations you don't have. I found a box, put linux on it and vlc and sagetv 6.6 to test the webfeedencoder plugin in that configuration. And have just realised that theres no trial period on the linux SageTV server. I really don't want to spend $79 for a virtually obsolete version of SageTV for the sake of a couple of days testing. Anybody managed any kind of temporary linux license from SageTV for this kind of purpose? Michael |

I don't think you can get a temporary license for linux. But AFAIK any V6 license purchased since at least the beginning of the V7 beta (maybe since the beginning of the year) is good for V7 as well.
