HD PVR recording in mpeg2 and NOT h.264 TS files
All,
My hd pvr seems to be recording in mpeg2 .TS files and not h.264. When I set my quality for recording it's labeled as "best-h.264". Is there something I don't have configured correctly? |

Why do you think it's recording in MPEG2? As far as I know, the HD PVR isn't even capable of MPEG2.

Well After Loading up the TS files in vlc I have validated they are h.264.
What lead me to believe it was using mpeg2 was when I did select the recording quality it still mentioned the TS was mpeg2 even though it was titled "high h.264". So I think theres actually a bug in sage because the info is conflicting. Additionally highlighting the TS file in file explorer and windows displays that it's a mpeg2 TS file. So I think sage might be inserting some incorrect metadata in the files too. |
