Motorola DCX3400
Just wondering if anyone has successfully used firewire channel changing with the motorola dcx3400 box? I have not seen drivers for this box but wondering if other drivers for other motorola boxes will work.

Good news ...
i just had my old 3216 die and it was replaced with a dcx3400. The unit was recognized by windows over the firewire and new Tuner driver installed but the Panel driver failed. Through Device manager i manually forced the panel to load the 3216 Panel driver. Channel change through channel.exe now works (with the -f option ) and a simple update of the graph to use the new tuner has the video capture working also. ![]() Hope this works for you! Good Luck |

DCX3400
FlyingDoc,
So are you able to capture video via Firewire from the recorded programs on the DCX3400? I've been searching everywhere for a way to do this... |
