SageTV Mobile Web Interface Version 2.1.0

Is there anyway to add links for other webpages to SageTV Mobile Web Interface.

Afaik u would have to modifying code. Once modified u would need to push a dev package to your server. Everytime we push out a new build your changes would be lost. I'll talk to jreichen to see if we can cone up with something for ya... U could make a standard HTML page with links and throw it in it's own jetty context. From there u could go to the web ui... Not the most elegant but a quick and dirty solution..

So if I create a html page, I can locate it here C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\jetty\contexts and access it through the web UI. Do I have to edit anything in the UI to see the added links.

So what exactly do you gain compared to just bookmarking the webcam?

I believe so yes, but im not 100% sure how jetty handles that. you may need some additional files in order for it to work. If i get sometime today during the day i will look for you and see if there is an easy way to do it.

The way that I have dealt with this is that I have a customized home page on my WHS box. This includes links to my home cameras as well as to my Jetty Pages (I have a regular and backup server). So it does require another click or two but it is not too bad to deal with.

I don't think you'll want to put anything in the jetty/contexts folder. That would require creating a more complex web application.

For simpler content you can put files in the jetty/static directory or subdirectories in there. For example, if you create the file jetty/static/webcams.html, you can access it at the URL http://<server>:<port>/webcams.html.

Installed a copy of Abyss Web Server X1. Configured it for port 80. Created a webpage with links to Webcams and sage mobile web.. Now I don't have to remember any ports. Just point to my dyndns address to get the page.
