Question First post Java heap size?

I purchased sage in April 2011 and have been on a learning curve ever since. I got to say I think it's a great product. I have several items that I don't have working correctly or don't understand how to operate.

First my biggest problem is freezing or jerking video at times. It's mostly with the programming coming in from the HVR-1600 however I do see it on the other sources. The Colossus has awful video but I just add that this week.

I've read about increasing the java heap size thinking that help. The variable JVMMaxHeapSizeMB doesn't seem exist in my registry. And yes I check “Wow6432Node” My current heap is 309/389/389. Am I on the right track?

Any advise? or other help
Mike

also when using that tool make sure Sage and the sage service are stopped. if Sage is running the values will not 'stick'

Well, this is a registry setting....so you don't need to stop Sage, but you will need to reboot the machine after making the change.
