Olympics BBC channels

This morning my DigiGuide asked me to add to my lineup 24 + 24 HD channels for the Olympics coverage...I wonder how BBC could reserve so much satellite bandwith in one go, unless is Freeview only

Just had a look at "King Of Sat" here and all the 24 + 24 HD new BBC channels are listed there, hurray! I love this country...

I was wondering if I'll get a discount on my TV license if I don't watch them!

Yeah they been live for a few weeks now.

But do think its a waste of TV license.

Plus it's going to take awhile to set them up in XMLTV

Hi,

I have updated the Wiki to include the Satellite frequency details for nearly all UK channels including the 24 BBC Olympic HD channels.

http://sagetv.wikia.com/wiki/Satellite_frequency_list

The BBC Olympic channels are 450 - 473, I have tested most of them and it looks good.

The corresponding Guide data has been uploaded to the LM Gestion XMLTV Importer for SageTV.

Hope this helps,

David

Thanks for the channel data - works great. Where are you getting the EPG guide data? I use XMLTV grabber with LM Gestion importer using the Radio Times data, but I can't see the Olympic channels listed.

Hi,

Glad they worked.

I use the LM Gestion SageTV XMLTV importer and DigiGuide.

DigiGuide has all the UK channels including the correct channel numbers. I think the instructions on how to use DigiGuide with the Importer are on a sticky on the SageTV UK forum page.

There is a good article here http://www.damianflynn.com/2010/10/1...logic-live-tv/ which should help explain how to set up the importer with DigiGuide.

David
