Question: Selling a License

I have sold my SageTV Server 6.6 Key and 7 Upgradekey. I just now realized (before I gave the buyer the key) that my name has to be entered also. Is there anyway to not have to give them my name?

If not, is there any real worry over doing so?

The License must be accompanied by the name associated with it to be of any value during software installation and activation.

I don't know what your reasons are for not wanting folks to know your name, but if you're worried about what the buyer might do with the software, I would keep an electronic or paper copy of your sales communication around I suppose.

Also keep in mind that whoever buys your license has the ability to resell it to whoever they want, whenever they want.
