Help - Server not found

I am reinstalling Sage from scratch on a new server, and when setting it up, on the weather, and TV guide data screens where it asks for your Zip Code, it is responding with "Cannot find the SageTv server. Check your internet connection".

I am running windows 8, but the internet connection is just fine.
Does anyone have any tips here?

In you sig line you indicate Windows 8.1. I am not sure if this is on or off track, but when I installed Win 8.1 Preview on my tablet, my wife was unable to access her corporate website due to a Java error. In a nutshell, Java would not setup correctly to allow it to be correctly versioned, whereas when it ran Win 8 Pro on same tablet prior to the OS update, it worked fine. I presume Java was not yet fully supporting the OS at the time. This may or may not be rectified yet?

The sage server has reportedly been having intermittent problems over the last couple weeks, so this is likely the issue with the guide data. The weather, though, is due to the old data source not being there any more. You need to update the STV (Setup -> Detailed Setup -> Advanced -> Check for Updates), and then the weather will update with the new Google data source.
