XMLTV importer under Linux

I know about Stephane's XMLTV importer for Windows, but I'm running Sage on a linux server. I've searched the forums but haven't been able to find anything definitive about importing XMLTV epg data into Sage on a linux box. Any help appreciated. Recent changes to EIT in Australia are messing with an increasing number of recordings so I'd really like to switch to an independent EPG source. Currently looking at using shepherd for this.

XMLTV importer under Linux

I'm running Sage on a linux box and would like to switch from EIT EPG data to an independent EPG source. I'm thinking of using shepherd to generate the xmltv file but I havent been able to track down a method for importing the file into Sage on a linux box. I'm aware of Stephane's importer but that only runs on windows. Has anyone set up an importer under linux?

Thanks cychou. I'd seen references to xmltvimport but I couldn't actually find the zip file. I also wasn't sure whether it worked under v7 but I'll give it a go.

Cychou, would you be able to tell me what form the date/time stamp has in your xmltv file. I tried running nielms xmltv importer but it complains that the format can't be parsed. Shepherd is creating a stamp of the form YYYYMMDDhhmmss
