|
Many MCE Remote Buttons Not Working,
A lot of the buttons on my MCE Remote don't seem to do anything in SageTV 9, and trying to map them to Sage functions didn't seem to do anything at all.
Guide, Recorded TV, and the GreenButton are examples of nonworking buttons. Most of the basic functions like video transport work okay though. Is this a known issue?

I ended up installing EventGhost, and that works great on my Windows 10 PC.
EventGhost didn't register any MCE Remote keypresses unless I ran it as Administrator, so I have Task Manager load it on user Log On. That way it runs as Administrator without prompting to do so. Also, by using EventGhost, I was able to map the GreenButton to start Sage if it wasn't already running.
