Extenders keep freezing need rebooted
Sorry to bother people but I can't see what's causing this in the error logs. I upgraded to a new server Core I7 from E8400 ran it separate for several days all seemed fine. Once I brought it on line the extenders started to freeze up. When you are watching a show the hd300 will freeze and must be powered off to start watching again. It happened 3 to 4 times when my daughter was watching scorpion. I have included the err log if someone can see what is causing it to freeze I see an error for mini client around 21:26 which was one of the freezes. Thanks for any help. Would hate to go back to the E8400 but it does run flawlessly, just slow. Here is a link in drop box it was to large to attach

Are you running the new pc with the same java heap size as the older pc???

Wow....there seems to be a lot going on on that server so hard to narrow it down but based on the time you provided I see a few things happening...

Yes same java heap size as before 1024. I did go to windows 64 bit instead of 32 bit for this server. The install and uninstall of the upnp was me just trying to get it to show up in the menu after install but wasn't. I was looking at the java exceptions as the problem. I rolled the java back to version 7 so I could run the web service for my daughter and her ipad. I did stop opendct and sage before i did this. I may go back yo java 8 and just uninstall the jetty web service for now, to see if this fixes it. I may also bring the old server back on line with logging turned on to see if I get the same errors on discovery. My wife complained about this last week that it happened twice to her but I did not see it till Saturday night. Two extenders where being used at one time and they both froze at the same time, so it's not the extender its the server for sure. The other interesting part is it does not affect the recordings everything recorded fine last night even with the extender freezing up and being rebooted.

Post UPnP errors in the UPnP thread. It looks like whatever combination of plugins you are using is causing problems.
