Comskip skipping early and jumping too early

I have thought about this, I have searched extensively both this site and comskip, but can not find an answer, so here goes:

I finally watched a file with commercials - for the first time I might add, very nice that's it automatically skips, BUT it does about 5-8 seconds before the commercials start it jumps to 5-8 seconds before they end.

I've spent a 1/2 hour going through the comskip.ini file and I see nothing that would account for this, I vaguely remember seeing "something" about a delay of x seconds that would have this type effect - but I can not find it - probably dreamed it.

Now I have gone through every plugin that is installed and saw nothing like this, I also have waited 2 days before posting, I have spent 1/2 - 3/4 of an hour searching and reading this site, and have re-read this post 3 times, so I think I'm covered.

Ideas?

Personally, since comskip is a little bit unreliable, I never enable the auto-skip. On shows I find it flalwless but on other shows it's off by a few seconds.

For this reason, I tend not enable the auto-skip, and when I hit commercial I his the right-skip arrow (or long press right if using the Android MiniClient). Then if does go too far, I rewind a little but. I know some people do have auto-skip enabled, but, for my shows I just find it annoying for those times it doesn't get it right (ie, skips too early mainly)
