Fixing inconsistent program titles

Hi. I have a few series that were recorded from multiple network affiliates, and sometimes have different names for the same show.

For example, Super Why! and Super WHY!, or Barney and Friends, and Barney & Friends.

Is it possible to use BMT in a batch mode to fix this? In the Batch Update menu, the show title isn't one of the fields that is exposed.

Thanks!
Mike

Unfortunately, as it is today, you'd have to manually update each item

I've had duplicate listings for a single TV show in Sage due to the year being both included and excluded from the titles. Adding an exception to MediaTitles.xml, proceeded by doing a search for the general title in BMT, followed by clicking "update metadata" and, finally, deselecting "only update items that have not been updated previously" has caused BMT to do a manual update for all the items from thetvdb.com and get them all in line with the same titles.

Might this work for the OP?
