When I tried to use it to fix corrupted metadata in one show it resets multiple episodes under that title to same episode number, so when i try to fix one file it applies changes to multiple episodes in that title. not sure it this is part of bigger issue since the scourge of data corruption bug.

It will be because all the shows will have the same ID.

In this situation I normally use CMT to "Change type to Imported Video" of all the affected recordings.
Then edit the metadata as required.
Then "Change type to Recording"

Is there a current issue with actor pictures as i am no longer seeing any on the IMDB results.... it may just be me though???

Yes there is an issue with pictures at the moment. IMDB have changed the location where the images are stored to use https.

There was a change in SageTV 9.0.8 that handles https better which means some images are now working, but I need to re-look at it.

Prior to that change, in regards to loading images from URL's, it didn't handle it at all. The change was put there because Schedules Direct images are all on https.

So far my issue was i was on 9.0.4 still

Upgraded today and so far i am getting actor images.

Thanks for your work on this...we use it all the time!

Thanks for that change. I started looking into the problem and then you included that https support which resolved a lot of my issues
