Sagetv Service Hanging at Startup

I just restarted my PC after quite a long up time and I'm having trouble getting Sage to start up its service and then the client. It appears to be a service hang and the client just keeps waiting.

I've attached the logs to show what the status currently is.

One note, I do suspect that I'm having a HDD issue at the moment on one of my sata drives. It's not the one with Sagetv on it but it does have Sagetv recordings.

The last action in the main thread in the log file is "checking video directories for new files" so I'd say your HDD is the issue.

Thank you, I concur. Every time I try to access the drive I get a pause. Sigh. One bad drive spoils the whole system performance.
