HD-200: Preferred Replacement Remote Control?

The keys are wearing out on my HD-200 remotes - multiple presses needed on some keys to get a signal through.

Re-programmed a couple to less-used keys, but the handwriting seems to be on the wall.

Is there a widely-preferred substitute for the HD-200 remote?

Or, given the ability to program keys in Sage, would any remote with enough keys do the trick?

Not sure how easily they come apart but I’ve cleaned the circuit board landing pads with rubbing alcohol on other remotes in the past with decent results.

If you get a programmable remote you don’t need to program anything in Sage. It will send the same codes as the original.

Harmony 700 works for me - not all buttons, but most.

How do you access the circuit board? I have a Sage remote and an LG remote with this problem.

If you can figure out how to pop the remote apart the board is usually just loose under the keypad. For the SageTV remote, refer to this thread: https://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65471
