MKV embedded subtitles - how to display?

Hi,

When viewing downloaded MKV files with embedded subtitles in various languages, the STV displays no subtitles. I have to view the file in the VLC to be able to see the subtitles.

Is there a way how to display the subtitles in the STV?

Not that I know off I use Comskip to extract them in srt format.

OK, so what if I have an srt subtitle file? Can I display the subtitles in the STV?

i know it works with HD200/HD300 for MKV files with embedded subtitles when they are in Videos Folder. Press the Options button when playing and it should have a box for Subtitle.

Although sometimes has issues when there are a ton of languages in which case I run it thru MakeMKV and unselect all excpet the English subtitles

SRT files seem to only work when they have the same name as the imported video file. VLC lets you attach other-named files. SageTV picks up SRT files based on file name, and location in the same folder, as mentioned above.
