Google will find anything in the static site but isn’t aware of threads vs posts. You can try it today with the live forum by searching like this:

<keyword> site:sagetv.com

That will return “places” it found that keyword, usually specific posts which gets you to the relevant thread. I’ve literally never used the built-in search as I’ve had better luck this way.

You'll be able to search just like do w/ anything else on Google. There won't be special vBulletin search functionality.

Has anybody tried httrack w/ the test site I set up? It's possible it'll work because it's a different server than I was running.

Private Message box after June 1

Will any old messages from the In and Out boxes still be available to read, or will access to your Private Messages end on June 1.
I've got some messages in there with helpful info, so do I need to back those up and save them offline?

I can’t see how they would stay. They are private to you and with the shut down there will be no way for you to “find” them.

I must say that one thing never changes. New member joins, attempts to post code to hack into the forum, gets banned.

New user registration is now disabled.
