Can not start early/end late w/ Keyword Autorecord

I have a series autorecord setup using a keyword, and have set it to start 15minutes early and end 45 minutes late (its for sports events), and it is not using the modified start/end times.

This recording is number 1 in the priority list, and this is using latest version of SageMC. I haven't switched to the standard UI to see if that makes a difference, but has anyone else seen this problem?

If you've updated the Favorite's padding, it might take some time to update the schedule to reflect the new padding. It could also drop the padding if you have SageTV configured to allow it to remove padding on back to back Favorites on the same channel. Or, the show could be getting scheduled via a different Fav that doesn't even have padding.

Its not recording anything else on the same channel... although it MAY be recording something through another favorite, but it has NEVER worked, and I doubt there has ALWAYS been another favorite adjacent to both ends of these recordings. (I only have like 5 favorites setup.)

If it IS being cancelling the padding via a different favorite, how do I over-ride this??

But, like I said, I don't think it is a conflict with anything else (except for maybe autorecords) ... so what should I look at?

Is it possible that the padding got recorded, but it didn't show it in the schedule? Make sure the remove_padding_on_back_to_back_favorites property is set the same in sage.properties and sageclient.properties, if using any sort of client or service mode. (Probably =false) Or, load the default STV and change the setting in Detailed Setup -> Customize -> Remove padding on back to back Favorites, then change it back to what you want it to be. This will set the property correctly in both places. (It is a wierd setting that has this requirement.)

I don't know about SageMC, but in the default STV, you can tell what Favorite is affecting a scheduled recording by selecting it -> Record Options -> Adjust Favorite Options. It will jump to the Favorite Details screen for that Fav, showing you the start & stop time padding, among other settings. That's how you could find out if there is some other fav affecting it.

If you think SageTV isn't working correctly, I suggest switching back to the default STV to work through the issue.
