Jave Errors? - MVP shows black screen on startup

Hi,

Just got a new MVP and tests fine with Hauppauge server software. Uninstalled MVP server and started SageTV extender server.

MVP finds it and connects to it , but then presents a black screen with 'noise' at the bottom. Log file (attached) makes it look like a Java error of some sort. Anybody know anything enought that this log file might give some clues?

Have you tried reinstalling java to fix the problem? I had a java issue (bad ram that was causing corrupt installations) and after I replaced the ram, I reinstalled java and voila, all was good and right in the world once again. I am not saying this will fix your problem, but it couldn't hurt.

Rolled back from 1.6 to 1.5, same problem

Reinstalled 1.6 - same problem.
Java seems to be installed OK.

I have enabled logging properly and the error looks like this in the savetv_0.txt file.

and then the TFTP timeout reoccurs about 50 times before it gives up.

Firewall is disabled on the sageserver.

Fix it.

Doesn't work with MAC address filtering on the wireless box.

I got that error when I was messing with the headless switch in the command line. For some reason, the MVP doesn't like when the server is started with "headless=false". When I changed that switch back to "true", the MVP went back to working normally. In short, have you changed anything recently?
