Cannot Locate GUI Server / MVP Firmware

I have a couple of MVPs (which are working fine) and a wMVP (Rev. 2.05). No luck with the built-in wireless on the wMVP. I am currently using a wireless bridge so the wMVP thinks it is wired. The wMVP boots, goes all the way thru the setup and then gets into an endless loop saying it cannot locate a GUI server. Any ideas?

There is a post on the Hauppauge site related to new firmware to address this is issue (F/W 3.2). Has anyone tried SageTv with MVP firmware above 2.05?

Check if you dont have any other network interfaces, sometimes the tftp server gets binded to another card rather than the one of your LAN where your MVP is, and the MVP cant connect to the tftp to download the sagetv loader. If you have other interfaces, try disabling/uninstalling the driver. (well at least I did experienced that prob, and that was my fix)

Hope it helps

wireless bridge --- I found that you must disable all the non-standard WiFi features on both client and w-router such as Frame Bursting, Turbo 125, and so on, because the tftp in Sage does not tolerate many or any errors, and these modes to cause various errors depending on the extent of interoperability between client and w-router.
