"No Signal" from Network Encoder on Audio-Only MPGs

Does anyone know a workaround that would allow tuning to audio-only "channels" from a network encoder? I am currently using a network encoder for DVB-S, and on FTA audio channels SageTV receives an audio-only mpeg2 file. Since there is no video, SageTV refuses to begin playback. I can, however, put it in the media directory and SageTV will play it back as audio. It just will not do it in "Live TV" mode.

I hope this makes sense, and that someone can help me out because it's a shame to have so many FTA audio channels and not be able to use them...

Frustrating I know but Sage doesn't currently work with audio only streams.

I was hoping this would have been looked at for the recent release as DVB tends to include audio only radio streams.

I made a feature request for this a few months back - would be good if others did too so that they know this would be valued.

It's very frustrating...but I figured I just wasn't "in the know" and that someone else knew a workaround. It seems like it'd be an easy fix, but what the hell do I know about the internals?
