Tuner cards question
Hi,
I just moved and have decided to do away with DirecTV with TiVo and use my PC and cable. I'm using a Gateway 835GM 2.8ghz Dual Core with three HD's totaling 1 terabyte and of course STV. My video out card is a BFG 7300. I have 3 PCI and 1 PCI Express slots open. EDIT: Well, let me try it this way... With the PVR-500 dual tuner card, will it provide dual live buffers ? Is this still a good card to use ? Thx Last edited by 73cuda; 12-07-2007 at 01:10 PM. |

Yes, it will
I have that card and it does provide two sources of live cable. I can watch one channel while recording another. I can also record 2 different shows at the same time. It's an awesome card.
