I have taken Ben's JP1 and modified it to support IR control for a ReplayTV 5000 remote control. So if you have extra ReplayTV remotes laying around like I did, you can just upload this JP1 to your remote to control the SageTV HD-100 (assuming you have purchased or built your own JP1 cable. I built my own years ago.). Personally, I prefer the layout and feel of the Replay remote over the remote that comes with the HD-100, problably just because I had grown very familiar with it over the years :-)

Too bad the power commands cannot be changed. The MCE remote would have been very nice to use with it.

When I tried to use my MCE remote with the HDX it recognises all the button presses as the same code. Am I doing something wrong?

The MCE remote does NOT work natively with the STX-HD100. These was talk that it would but it never has.

Could you elaborate on your statement that "The HD Extender supports the Tivo remote as well, once programmed."

This is exactly what I'm trying to do with the HD200 and I'm having only limited success:
