Imported media won't refresh
I have a Sage 6.3.3 server with several imported media directories and in the last few weeks any additions and deletions are ignored by the server; new items don't appear, old items won't go away. These same files behave as expected on two v4 servers I have.

I have even tried re-adding the directories after numerous attempts to refresh but nothing ever happens. Are there any know issues with media import refreshes with this release of the software?

Are you using service mode with UNC paths? If so, don't forget that you have to reconfigure the service to log in as a user w/a password after installing a new version of SageTV. That user also needs permission to access those paths.

I'm not using service mode, but these are UNC paths. Neither the hosting system nor any clients are updating.

Well, the clients get their info from the server... so I would double check the server's permission to access those paths.

Well, I can read and write to those directories from the server's computer, so I assume the permissions are valid.

Several days, several reboots, several shut-downs and re-starts of the media center and still the imported media won't refresh.

I've just experienced the same issue of SageTV not updating/refreshing contents in one of my folders. It looks like one or more media file is corrupt; and when SageTV encounters the first corrupt media file, it terminates refresh of that folder. I've divided up my media files into subfolders and they are refreshing correctly. I'm still in the process of isolating which file(s) is/are corrupted.

Installed: WHS OS, SageTV for WHS, PlayOn and Orb.
SageTV Plugins: PlayOn in OnLine Services.
SageTV clients: HD-200->Samsung LN52A750 and HD-100->Samsung LN40A650
Clients: 5 HP laptops, home built PC, iMac, PS3, PSP, XBox360, 3 iPhones 3gs (through OrbLive).

If you turn on debug_logging, the logs should show you what media file Sage barfs on.
