STX-HD100 will not play transport stream files
Hi all

Just updated to the latest HD100 beta firmware (200805231). According to the notification transport stream should now be supported. But none of my TS files will play on the HD100.

Am I doing something wrong? Or could it be related to the fact that the HD100 is still not supporting PAL, though mpg files are working - if the video output is set correct manually? The files play fine on everywhere else including my MVP. I'm using Sage 6.4.3.

I would have thought there would be more feedback than this since the blu-ray/HD topics are so hot right now.

Are you sure that's the version you are using? It was removed for further internal testing. The 20080519 0 version is the latest download.

Yes, I'm sure thats the one I updated to 21 hours ago. Do you suggest I downgrade and is it possible?

Unless you got the firmware some other way, the download was reverted to version 20080519 0 more than 21 hours ago... double check which version of the firmware your HD100 has. Reverting to the previous beta firmware would just be a matter of entering the beta code & updating to the version it shows.

OK I checked again. In System info is written that current stv file set version is 200805231. I guess its the one?


UPDATE: Sorry its true. I'm wrong. I went to the firmware update page in startup. There is written 200802040. Now I'm downloading the newest beta.

OK, updated the firmware (the right way) to the latest beta and my TS files (almost all) are playing fine now.
