Disabling continuous FF/RW in SageMC
I have continuous FF/RW disabled in the SageMC settings. My Skip buttons work properly for recorded videos. But when I playback DVD's, the skip and skip#2 (and skipback and skipback#2) don't behave as they do for recorded videos. Skip#1 toggles the continuous FF speed even though I have it turned off. And Skip#2 seems to advance the DVD about 5 minutes. The smooth FF problem is compounded for me right now because it doesn't seem to work very well. The DVD timeline seems to get confused causing the picture to lock up for several seconds before finally catching up. If I switch back to the default Sage STV, DVD FF/RW works as I prefer (ie, skips rather than continuous with no temporary lockups). How can I turn off continuous FF/RW for DVDs in SageMC?
This problem is occuring on the HD media extender. Not sure if it happens on Sage clients. A second problem I reported as a bug to Sage.. DVD's don't seem to resume playback from where I stopped them.. They always start from beginning even though I specify "Resume playback". For me this happens on the default STV as well. Do others see this too on the extender? |

I think the continous FF/RW was designed into the DVD player portion of SageMC and there isn't an option to change it. (Except maybe through Studio)

I wouldn't mind continuous ff/rw so much for my DVD's if it worked. Does it work well for you all? For me on my hd extender it lags, particularly after a rewind. The picture locks up for a long time, like 10 seconds, before continuing.. Sometimes I hear the audio during that time.
