Problem marking a recording as manual after the recording has finished

Wanted to see if anyone else has noticed this problem before I filed a bug report. This is with the 6.4.4 beta on WinXP MCE and jre1.6.0_05

History:
I have recordings that I don't want Sage to delete so I've always marked them as a manual recording with the record command after the favorite has been recorded. I then remove the favorite and the recording then looks and is considered a manual recording by Sage and doesn't delete it when space is needed.

Problem:
When I do the above Sage looks like it is trying to record it again as the record light on the HD-PVR and the recording indicators in Sage light up. After maybe a minute or so Sage sees that it has already recorded it and stops recording. It doesn't appear to be recording OVER the existing recording so not sure where it is writing the data to - if it even is. I do have logging turned on and made sure I tried it from my HD-100 so that user commands would show up in the Service mode log.

So anybody else notice this or is it just my setup?

To reproduce this just press the record command on a Favorite and wait 30 seconds or less. You should see a record icon show up and then shut off upto two minutes later. It even generates a conflict if you try to do two in a row and the first one hasn't stoped yet.

Edit: It does it on my 2nd Server where I only have nVidia Dual TV tuners as well so it isn't limited to the HD-PVR recordings.

Well I kind of suspected this but it ISN'T a SageTV specific problem but one of the three plugins I had installed on both servers that cause this. Now to find the guilty party!
