Firewire channel changing strange issue.

I have my HD PVR hooked to my STB configured to change channels via Firewire.

When I setup the lineup originally I "disabled" my local HD channels as I was able to get those with my HDHR. Now however my HDHR isn't working so I went in to "enable" the local HD channels just so I could have them until I get the HDHR figured out.

Strange thing is the firewire channel change isn't working for those channels. It works fine for all other channels but not those. Say channel 232 is attempted to be tuned in (nbchd) it instead tunes in channel 7. But if I tune channel 230 (disney hd) it works perfectly.

Check your channel mappings for the tuner in question -- I didn't move this to the hardware forum as a firewire issue yet because it sounds like it is changing channels on the STB OK; it just may be that the channels are not mapped correctly in Channel Setup for the tuner connected to the STB, or the channels may be fine & that channel is at two different numbers.

Yes it was a software issue. Which is what I was thinking, because everything else tuned in correctly. After I posted this I left for dinner with the wife and it donned on me that the mappings were incorrect from my previous tinkerings with my hdhr and this lineup.

I just reset the mappings of the channels back to default and that was it.
