Problems with HD100 and HDMI switch

I am attempting to run my HD100 to a Monoprice HDMI switch, but the switch does not detect the signal. I am outputting 720p from the HD100, through the switch and to a plasma. In this setup, I get nothing on the plasma and the switch does not indicate it is getting a signal. But if I bypass the switch, the TV works fine.

I have had this problem also running the same HD100 into my Pioneer Elite receiver to my projector. The receiver does not detect the video signal until I cycle the video output on the HD100. Once I cycle, it locks in and is good until the extender is placed in standby. Then, I have to cycle again.

Questions:
1. Has anyone had success running the HD100 through a switch or reciever?
2. Is there something in the configuration of the HD100 that I need to set?

Thanks for any help.

Sounds like the extender is turning off it's HDMI when it doesn't detect a device connected. I'd send a support request to SageTV about it.

J have also been unsuccessful connecting the HD-100 through my Philips receiver, although HDMI direct to my plasma works fine.

After a firmware update on the extender I began having this same problem with my onkyo hdmi switching receiver. I purchased an hdmi switch from newegg.

This one solved my problem.

I've had issues with HDMI switching myself. Sometimes if I watch a show, the screen will go black and nothing happens. If i switch my HDMI source to anything else (like my ps3) then back to the extender everything will be working again. I've got the extender set to only output 1080p. Sometimes, switching sources won't work, I'll have to soft power cycle the extender.
