Subtitles & audio tracks when playing DVD?

I understand that it's currently not an option to choose alternate audio tracks or subtitles when playing an MKV file... But how do I choose these options when playing back a ripped DVD (TS_VIDEO folder)? I'm not seeing a Subtitles or Audio/Sound button on the remote and I don't see the settings in Options...

There are options in the stock STV, maybe it's a SageMC thing.

I suppose it could be a SageMC thing... but why would you remove basic options like that. I'll have to recheck on it after unloading the MC STV.

SageMC is basically a ground up new UI (not a new skin) so it's probably less a case of it being removed, but something new in the stock UI that may not have been added to SageMC. It's also only there on DVDs (and maybe now MKVs and a couple other containers I may be forgetting).

And I think Track Selection (audio at least) has been added to 6.5 for MKV and a couple other containers.

I'll look at this more closely tonight. I appreciate your input, Stranger.

Thanks,

I finally found the correct button to press in order to access the language and subtitles options - the "Up" button. And, yes, it only works for DVDs. I really hope they can get this to work with MKV files also in a future firmware upgrade.

Thanks for your input Stranger,
RLW
