Question Metadata/Import Issues with IMDB/DVD Profiler

I recently upgraded my server and reinstalled SageTV and followed the instructions to copy my recordings over and that all worked out OK but I now have a problem where I cannot access the IMDB lookup as I always get an error that some big long complex website address cannot be located so I decided to fall back to my DVD profiler import and although it brings up the data fine after I click "import" it never appears in the item description. What am I doing wrong. I assume since there have been no other reports of this that I must have messed something up when I moved to a new server. I am running 6.5.6 RC and SageMC 6.3.8a. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Look in the thread for the IMDB plugin. I think there was an update which you probably didn'y put in place. For DVD Profiler make sure you go in to the Settings-Paths and put in the paths to the collection.xml and the database path for the images.

Hi Gerry,

Thanks for the reply. I did update the path to point to the collection.xml file. When I go to a DVD and tell it to edit the info and then do a DVD Profiler import it then does show all the information, but when I then click import it brings me back to the DVD screen and it is still blank. I also tried running the import globally on all movies and it never actually imports anything. I'll figure it out sooner or later hopefully!

Did you update the path to where the DVD Profiler stores it database?

You realize they had those issues about 3 months ago. Make sure all the paths are correct and that you have the latest DVDPro2Sage that was in another thread. And restart Sage server to be on the safe side.

Mike and dirk have not been including the latest dvdpro2sage class file with sagemc. You can always find the latest at http://code.google.com/p/dvdpro2sage.

Just drop the DVDPro2Sage.class file into the DVDro2Sage folder in the SageTV directory.
