HD-100 MX-850 Skip+ = FF ??

First post, so forgive me if I mess it up a bit.

I have searched the forums and read all the documents and posts I can find, but still can't find a solution to this problem. I have SageTV and an HD-100 Extender, both working just fine. I've been using them with the Externder remote for a couple of months. I have an MX-850 that controls everything else and just programmed it to issue HD-100 commands.

The problem is that the Skip+ button does not skip forward by 10 seconds, but instead does a Fast Forward. Repeated presses result in higher speed FF. Skip- does a rewind. If I try the HD-100 remote, the Skip functions work just fine, skipping foward by 10 seconds. Is there an error in the commands being issued by the MX-850 (and therefore an error in the IR Database) or am I doing something wrong? (When I look thru the IR Database for Sage, I cannot even find FF, only Skip+.)

Many thanks.

A very perplexed Steve20A

Thanks for the reply. I will try to remap the signal put out by the MX-850 using the Detailed Setup Commands section you recommended.

But on an academic level, is the 850 putting out the wrong command? Since the original remote works correctly, I am assuming that the 850 is sending something other than a Skip+ command. Would you agree? Should the Universal Remote Control folks care about this or is it really a small things in the larger scheme of life?

Thanks, again.
